Enhanced access

The Luton enhanced access service (previously known as extended access service) has been available from September 2018 for all Luton patients to book routine appointments with a GP, practice nurse or healthcare assistant through their practice.

This service will operate Monday to Friday evenings from 6:30pm to 9pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm at two local GP practices. The service will not operate from within our practice but patients will be offered appointments at Blenheim Medical Centre or Larkside Practice.

Patients unable to get to clinics at our surgery for chronic disease management such as asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension and rheumatoid arthritis may attend these clinics to have reviews. The clinicians in this service will have full access to your GP records from the surgery.

Accessibility

The surgery has an external ramp for wheelchair access. A wheelchair is also available in the surgery for use by patients on the premises. Patients that require additional help of any kind should speak to a receptionist and we will try to provide as much help as possible. With prior notice arrangements can be made to provide an interpretation service for the deaf.

Parking

As a consequence of inconsiderate parking and damage to staff cars, the car park at the rear of the surgery is no longer open to patients. Parking at the front of the building is for doctors only, please keep this area clear at all times.
